Chow Yun - Fat - King Mongkut
Although Chow Yun-Fat did not have any roles set in Penang, but he came to visit Armenian Street during the first day of shooting, 28 March, 1999 and created a huge turn out from the press to the local people. Chow appeared as a tourist in Armenian Street and taking photos of others while being the main focus point of all photographers. Teoh Ling Ling the photographer of "Filming of 'Anna and the King' in Penang" souvenir book, at that time took the opportunity to take photos of Chow appeared in front of her house.
