Nyonya Chang Workshop



The Nyonya Chang (or Nyonya rice dumpling) is a version of rice dumpling created by the Peranakan community that blends both traditional Chinese style with localised Malay spices. This savory-sweet dumpling is difficult to obtain nowadays, and PHT-PAPA is  delighted to offer a workshop that provides and opportunity for you to learn about the cultural heritage and significance of the dumpling, and the techniques and skills required to produce this beautiful treat for the palate.

Date: 4th August 2018 (Saturday)

Time: 2pm to 5pm

Venue: Penang Heritage Trust Office – 26 Church Street, 10200 George Town

Fees: RM40 (members)/ RM 60 (non-members). [Fees are inclusive of materials required for the workshop]
